Breathwork Classes Toronto and Nervous System Regulation
If you’ve ever been told to “just take a breath”, this isn’t it!
Breathwork is the art of intentional breathing, where controlled breathing techniques help calm your mind, body, and emotions. By consciously focusing on your breath, you can release tension, reduce stress, and increase mental clarity. Breathwork taps into your body’s natural ability to heal, helping you reset emotionally and physically by activating the parasympathetic nervous system—the "rest and digest" response.
Through breathwork, you not only learn to manage stress but you also learn how to tap into deeper emotional healing.

Breathwork and Cold Plunge Questions
-
A breathwork facilitator guides you through intentional breathing techniques while creating a calm, supportive space for the experience. My role is to guide the process, help you stay connected to your breath and body and create space for reflection afterward. Sessions may include body awareness, intention setting and visualization. And no, this isn't just someone telling you to "take a deep breath."
-
Cold immersion isn't appropriate for everyone and your safety comes first. Before participating, you'll be asked to complete the appropriate health screening and waiver. If you have a health condition, take medication, or have any concerns about whether cold immersion is appropriate for you, speak with a qualified healthcare professional before participating. My role is to provide a supported, guided experience, not to provide medical advice.
-
It's personal, purposeful and guided. I don't simply show up, lead a breathing exercise and disappear. I take time to understand who is in the room and what you want participants to experience. My background in leadership facilitation also means I understand how to work with groups, manage the energy in a room and create experiences that feel professional while still being human. It's wellness with intention, not wellness for wellness's sake.
-
You'll be guided through the experience from beginning to end. A breathwork experience can include intentional breathing, body awareness, intention setting, visualization and time for reflection. A cold immersion experience incorporates guided preparation, the cold-water component and time afterward to reflect and reconnect. You don't need to know what you're doing beforehand. That's what I'm there for.
-
No previous experience is required for a Creating Clarety experience. Whether you're completely new to breathwork or have done it many times before, the experience is adapted to the people in the room. The same goes for cold immersion. You don't need to arrive as an expert. Curiosity is enough.
-
Absolutely. Breathwork and cold immersion are complementary experiences, but they don't have to be bundled together. Creating Clarety offers breathwork as a standalone experience as well as combined breathwork and cold experiences. For workplace events in particular, breathwork can be a great option when you want a reset or moment of focus without introducing cold immersion.
